We have always done our own taxes using software from the local Staples.  I just realized how dumb that was.  We go to this firm (free consultation up to 1/2 hour) to have a tax projection done.  We meet with our accountant Jye Kang (a most pleasant man).  He does our projection and we are floored.  Did you know you can either deduct or get a tax credit for union dues, vehicle registration fees and such?  I didn't! Anyway, we were most impressed with Mr. Kang's knowledge and his hospitality.  Everyone there was so nice and they wanted to make sure we were comfortable and had something to drink.  A very pleasant experience. We made an appointment for February to have our taxes done by Mr. Kang and we left there feeling much lighter.  We paid taxes last year (payments to State are deductible ... who  knew) but our projection shows that not only are we not paying but should get a great refund to boot!!!  WOOHOOO!!!!  Jye Kang ROCKS!
